Description: A welder is a trained technician who uses high heat and gas to fuse metal pieces together or fill and fix defects in metal structures. As a result, the job opportunities for professional welders are abundant. Tungsten Inert Gas (TIG) welding, also known as Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW) is an arc welding process that produces the weld with a non-consumable tungsten electrode. TIG welding is applied in all industrial sectors but is especially suitable for high quality welding. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS), the coming years expect to see a rise in job openings for welders, cutters etc. With this increase, we’re excited to partner with programs that offer training for this growing field.
